The workshop will be founded on theoretical and practical aspects of multiagent systems development. Although all the promises made in the last decade, MAS is still a technology to be adopted in commercial applications. More concretely, we would like to discuss which areas can especially benefit from agent technology and agent based applications, taking into account the current state of the art. We would like to discuss not only the traditional applications (games, animation, simulation) but also extrapolate over new areas and future opportunities for multiagent systems. This won’t rule out any specific topic related to multiagent systems, but preference will be given to research work that establish some connection with successful applications built upon some existing or developing multiagent systems methodology.
